From the Canadian Motorcycle Road Racers Safety Summit
The first annual Canadian Motorcycle Road Racers Safety Summit will take place on Saturday, April 9 at the Spring Motorcycle Show at Toronto's International Centre.
The event is an opportunity for stakeholders in motorcycle road racing to come together to present ideas, review safety products and equipment and generally examine various ways to improve the safety of the sport.
Among those presenting will be John Bickle of the Canadian Rider Safety Fund, Colin Fraser, Race Director with the CSBK, and the Canadian Race Communications Association. Also attending will be XR1200 Cup racer and med student, Lee Kuhn Jr. He will be speaking about the importance of the 'Medical Information Carrier System' to first responders.
There will be question and answer sessions following each presentation.
The Summit will be held in the Ontario Room off of Hall 1.
