TORONTO, ON - Frontline CSBK Inc., Canada’s premier road racing series organizer, has announced that Inside Motorcycles has stepped up its contribution with CSBK for the 2011 season and has taken on the role of class sponsor for Amateur Sport Bike.
“Sponsoring the Amateur Sport Bike class further demonstrates our commitment to grassroots motorcycle road racing in Canada,” said the magazine’s Managing Editor, David Weber. “Combined with our Team of the Year Award, Inside Motorcycles is fully invested in the 2011 Canadian Superbike Championship.”
“The Amateur Sport Bike class has provided a valuable stepping stone to current Pro stars like Brett McCormick and Jodi Christie,” added Inside Motorcycles Editor John Hopkins. “We are delighted to contribute to the growth of Canada’s road racing talent and look forward to seeing who will emerge as the new heroes of Canadian racing.”
Already recognized as the official media partner of the Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada, Inside Motorcycles will take a significant role in promoting the future stars of Canadian road racing by assisting with the year-end prize fund for the class as well focusing on promoting riders in the class using the various media outlets of Inside Motorcycles and Inside Track Communications.
“It’s fantastic that Inside has really come to the plate this year with some year-end prize money and this will help a lot to make sure our future racers have some extra incentive and the ability to carry on in their racing careers beyond the national Amateur ranks,” said Kevin Graham of CSBK.
The 2011 Canadian Superbike Championship kicks off on May 20 with the Pirelli tire test at Calabogie Motorsports Park, which will be hosted by the Turn 2 Sportbike School. Round one will take place May 27-29 at Circuit ICAR near Montreal.
