WHITBY, ON – One of Canada’s largest and most modern powersports retail facilities will hold its official Grand Opening on Thursday, April 7 at 11:00am.
GP Bikes opened on Feb. 22 to rave reviews from customers and industry observers. The 24,000 square foot facility sells Ducati, KTM and Triumph motorcycles, and Vespa scooters. GP Bikes has one of the largest clothing and accessories departments, and carries all of the top brands including Dainese, Joe Rocket, Arai, Alpinestars and Shoei. Its new slogan 'Your Motorcycle Powersports Authority' underscores the leading edge nature of the retail facility.
The Mayor of Whitby, her worship Pat Perkins will be on hand for the Grand Opening ceremonies to help cut the ribbon to officially open one of the premiere powersports facilities. GP Bikes owner, Jerry Ordanis and his wife Lorraine Robertson will also take part in the Grand Opening ceremonies along with 2011 Daytona 200 winner Jason DiSalvo. DiSalvo will be at GP Bikes on both Thursday and Friday, April 8 to meet fans and customers. The Batavia, NY rider will also be at the GP Bikes booth at the Spring Motorcycle Show at Toronto's International Centre, April 9-10.
The new GP Bikes service department boasts a very experienced team of technicians and seven service bays to provide fast and expert service for Ducati, KTM, Triumph, Vespa and all other makes.
GP Bikes is conveniently located at 1100 Champlain Court, just off Highway 401 with access from the Thickson Road exit, and will serve all of Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area. The event will kick off GP Bikes' Full Throttle Grand Opening Sale, which will run until Saturday, April 16.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be served following the Grand Opening ceremonies.
