Round five of the Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) was turned upside down when bad news struck in the paddock. Everybody racing this weekend at Atlantic Motorsport Park (near Shubenacadie, NS) shares thoughts for Linda Hade, mother of Pirelli Pro Sport Bike rider Jérémie Hade-Précourt.
Linda is fighting against a tumor.
"I can't imagine what Jérémie is going through right now," admitted Raphael Archambault, rival and friend of the Hade-Précourt family. "Moms are so precious."
A card gathering everyone's best wishes is making it's way through the paddock.
"It goes to show just how much everyone cares," added Archambault. "We have a watertight community here at CSBK.
"It's going to be hard now for Jérémie to compete. But in those tough times, you have to hold on to your passion. Hopefully he finds riding his bike comforting, not torturing. For sure, I will be rooting for him."
