Canadian Superbike Champion Brett McCormick struggled in the first session of Superstock 1000 aboard the Garnier Alpha Racing BMW S1000R at the World Superbike event in Magny-Cours, France on September 30.
McCormick is currently qualified 19th out of twenty-eight riders with a 1'44.533, more than three seconds behind current top qualifier Davide Giugliano aboard the Althea Racing Ducatio 1098R.
"(Brett) looks to be on the pace in all the split time sections except section 4, the fastest part of the track," noted Chris Duff, Marketing and Race Team Manager for BMW Motorrad Canada. "His bike looks to be down on power compared to some of the others."
