World Superbike heads to Russia in 2012

The FIM released a provisional calendar for the 2012 World Superbike Championship yesterday, adding a stop at Moscow International Raceway in Russia. The Moscow stop solidifies the strength of the World Superbike series as a World Championship, with races in Australia, USA and now Russia, outside the balance of western European venues. The 2012 provisional World Superbike Championship also highlights an estimated 15 race venues, up from 13 in 2011. The series comes to North America on May 28, to Miller Motorsports Park, Utah.
