With the closure of Race City Motorsport Park this coming fall, it looked like racers were also going to lose the adjacent Varsity Speed Park as well. But Jay Fox, President of the Alberta Mini Roadracing Association (AMRA) happily announed that "we will have a separate lease with the City of Calgary and our great track will live on, supporting strong Mini Roadracing, Kart and Supermotard clubs. Thanks to all that never gave up and supported us all along."
