DAYTONA BEACH, FL -- The 70th Anniversary of the 'World’s Largest Motorcycle Event' will be held March 4 through March 13 as Bike Week 2011 roars into Daytona Beach.

"The 70th Anniversary marks a proud milestone in the history of Bike Week in Daytona Beach, and the variety of activities available to our visitors is a culmination of those years," said Bike Week Festival Task Force Co-Chairman Bob Coleman. "from the historic Main Street and Beach Street Area to Biking on the Boulevard, Destination Daytona, Daytona International Speedway, Riverfront Park in downtown Daytona Beach and, of course, the World’s Most Famous Beach."

This year’s event will be highlighted by the continued resurgence of the historic downtown area, as Harley-Davidson Motor Corporation stages its new product show in Riverfront Park in Downtown Daytona Beach. In addition to H-D’s new models, visitors will enjoy a litany of custom Harleys and a partnership with Daytona Harley-Davidson; all in an open-air venue.

Activities in Riverfront Park will include live bands, motorcycle stunt shows, food, vendors and manufacturer’s displays. In addition, the park will again host the Official Bike Week Welcome Center.
