STOW, OH – Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America is pleased to celebrate 100 years of manufacturing excellence in 2011. In celebration of this incredible milestone, the company unveiled a custom-built anniversary motorcycle at the 2011 Dealer Expo showcasing an extensive list of sponsors and custom paint by renowned airbrush artist Carlos Avelar.
Starting with a base 2011 Yamaha YZF-R1, Avon Tyres has custom built an incredible motorcycle worthy of the 100th anniversary recognition. Product sponsors included Yamaha/Yamaha GYTR, BST Carbon Fiber Wheels, Brock’s Performance, Akrapovic, Saddlemen, Graves, Race Tech, ASV, BMP, Bazzaz, K&N, Driven Racing, Avon Grips, Goodridge, Gilles Tooling, Pit Bull, Hot Bodies, and Sharkskinz. Motorcycle re-working was completed by Chris Costa at Yamaha of Cucamonga with transportation by Kendon Trailers and JC Motors Motorcycle shipping, and photos by Go Pro.
